Christmas Masses:
St. Ives: Christmas Eve 6pm Vigil; Christmas Day 9.30am.
Hayle: Midnight Mass, preceded by Carols from 11.30pm.
Penzance: Christmas Eve 6pm Vigil; Midnight Mass, preceded by Carols, Christmas Day, 10am.

Car parking: Very limited parking available at the rear of the Church via a narrow lane from Taroveor Road. Use is preferred for the less able bodied who have to travel by car. Car sharing is encouraged.
There are access ramps to the Parish Hall and (quite steep) to the rear side door of the Church.
Access from the Car Park also to
St. Mary's Haven Chapel.

Nearest public car parks (pay & display) at intersections of St. Clare Street, Causewayhead, Clarence Street and Taroveor Road, then just a few minutes walk downhill to Rosevean Road - on your left by the off licence. Street Parking is usually difficult in the immediate area.

Penzance Catholic Church Hall (the former Penzance 'parish' hall) is below the Church (Lady Chapel). Access from the car park side ramp and steps when the Church is not open.

Sunday Masses: at 9.00 am with a Children's Liturgy group during school term time, join us  in the Parish Hall afterwards for refreshments and sale of Fairtrade goods.

Weekday Masses: Venue varies between Church and Haven Chapel - typically as below. please 'phone to confirm or see the newsletter (displayed on green door to the right of church front entrance OR online newsletter Funerals may alter weekday arrangements at short notice

Mass is usually celebrated at 10am in the church on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays  
but occasionally with the children at St. Mary's Catholic Primary School at 9.30 on Thursday

Tuesday morning Mass is usually at 10am in the nearby Chapel of St. Mary's Haven (access from the car park at rear of the church - see further above) after which Eucharistic Adoration 'Watch and Pray' takes place until approximately 6.30 pm. (except August and other school holidays. Concluding with Evening Prayer of the Church and simple Benediction when Fr. Philip is available.)

Friday Mass is at 10.00 or 7.00 pm in the nearby Chapel of St. Mary's Haven after Adoration (below)

Liturgy of the Word takes place when no Mass is available, from June 2008

Saturday Mass is at 12.00 noon in the Church (reconciliation and Angelus before)
except during LENT when the time changes to 11.30 am because Ecumenical Lenten Lunches organised by "Penzance Churches Together" supporting 'Christian Aid' take place in different venues locally from 12 noon. (see poster in Church or newsletter for schedule - We host our Lenten lunch in St. Mary's Haven) Reconciliation is then at 11.00 a.m.

The Holy Rosary is prayed half an hour before weekday Mass - do join us. More information below.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available at 11.15 to 11.50 am on Saturday in Penzance and at any other time by request. Contact Fr. Philip | 'phone

Exposition and Adoration of The Blessed Sacrament
"Exposition", "Watch and Pray" , "Eucharistic Adoration" in Penzance
On Tuesdays and Fridays after 10am Mass until approx. 6.30pm in the nearby Chapel of St. Mary's Haven (except during August) (Entrance via the Haven or Respite Care Centre in St. Mary's Street).
When Fr. Philip is available, evening prayer and simple Benediction will be said at the close of Adoration
Please try to come along and spend time with Our Lord truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.

Rosary Group
The Holy Rosary of The Blessed Virgin Mary is prayed half an hour before weekday Mass in Penzance
see above weekday Mass times.
The Rosary group meets in St. Mary's Haven Chapel, at 9.30 am on Tuesday before Mass
All are very welcome to join in.
(n.b. Exposition on Tuesdays and Fridays after Mass). 
Other Rosary (and Prayer) groups occasionally meet in parishioners' houses. Start your own!
