Remembrance Day
11th November
(each year)
We remember
with thanksgiving and sorrow all those who have died in conflicts everywhere,
both long ago, also current and recent
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Laurence Binyon
(1869 - 1943) Poems for the Fallen
When
you go home tell them of us and say,
for your tomorrow, we gave our today.
