Epiphany House Blessing: The custom is to mark with chalk the lintel above your front door, or a space nearby in the following way:
20+C+M+B+23 The year and the three crosses are easy to understand. The three letters either stand for the traditional names of the Wise Men (Caspar, Melchior and
Balthasar) or the Latin Christus Mansionem Benedicat (May Christ bless this home) a prayer you can say as you mark the doorway with chalk.

Our choir seeks new singers especially
sopranos, to join their friendly & committed group. They sing at the 11am Solemn Mass on Sundays, Holy Days
and Choral Evening Prayer on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Music from Plainsong through Polyphony, to quality contemporary
music. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings. Basic sight-reading skills are
helpful but not essential. If you are open to developing your musical ability, vocal tuition forms part of rehearsals.
You don’t need to be a Catholic, there are already Christians of other denominations who are members.
The choir just asks you take on the ethos of what they do in leading music in
worship …. If this interests you or someone you know, please speak to David after the
11am Mass or contact him via the parish office ... Music page

We ask Your blessing,
Gracious God, on our parish. May it always assemble in peace,
in reconciliation, justice and joy, in praise of You and in service
to the world. May we be one as Your Son, Jesus Christ, prayed
that we might be. With Him in the unity of the Holy Spirit we
give You all honour and glory. Amen
Our Lady, Queen of
Peace, please pray for us.
